I grew up in Kaimuki, swimming competitively and eventually bodyboarding competitively. I was a former scholar athlete running Cross Country in College and then competed with the best as a professional bodyboarder. The water has always been a place I found comfort and peace in.

Photography is something I always loved. In High School, I studied the basics under an elderly woman named Thelma Gregg who had a dark room in her house.
